Remember my open lotus flower during the week? This is where I'd taken the photo, at Wyee Nursery, alongwith these.

leaves can be oh so beautiful too; the coleus

and the Freckle Plant

sitting having coffee now and who comes along?  What a lovely tail you have ..

and face too ... penny for your thoughts.

Beautiful series of shots, Carole. Nurseries provide a good opportunity for photography but also allow you to build up a "wish-list album" of plants. The little lizard is great!

Thank you for participating in Floral Friday Fotos and for your kind comment.

There's a nursery near my home and I would go there at least once a year just before the Chinese New Year, there are lots of flowers bought in, some were uniquely seen only during this season. Love all your photographs.

also, i'd really appreciate if you could contribute for Saturday Sareenity.

A wishlist of plants is generally all it will be for me - I have the proverbial 'black' thumbs!! While the plants are gorgeous, my heart was stolen by the skink!!

That was a great visit to a nursery! We used to grow coleus as a house plant -- lovely to see the masses of it.

Love the petunia tree...are there baskets in the tree; or, is this not a petunia? Does your lizard friend have a name...certainly is sleek!

yes there was a basket or two and I suspect they're a hybridised petunia variety. I think it was an Eastern Skink ...

Nice to see the "Spring" flowers! Some of those we actually have here too--in 6 months, we can show you, ha! I see your little lizard friend is still following you around...
