they look like walking thatch huts. :)
Very nice photos of the emus. I think they always look terrific walking through the bush towards you.
Pretty amazing looking birds Carole. Hard for me to imagine seeing them along the road. Are there ostrichs also? Have a great day!
Astonishing pictures Carole. Emu's in the wild! What a lovely planet we share!;-)WBW!
Great shots of them, pity there were no stripy chicks about.
How cool, the Emu are neat looking birds. I would love to see them in the wild. Great shots.
It's always weird for me to imagine seeing Australian animals in the wild, I hope I can one day. They are probably well camouflaged with their feathers in the brown grass.
Great shots!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Their feathers look soooo fluffy and soft...wonder if they are???Paper Hugs,Jan
i love emus - they are such interesting birds
What awesome birds!
I would love to visit your country and these (and others) birds in the wild. Thanks for sharing!
How cool to see them in the wild -- neat shots!
Awesome pics of the emu's, Carole!
Beautiful shots of a very interesting bird Carole. It's great to see these huge birds along side the road. In rural Northern California we have several roaming around due to the interest of Emu and Ostrich farming here. I love the Emu's eyes and eye lashes and the drumming noises they make.
Love that first comment!
